Get it while you can.

„Google Video Is Shutting Down. A download button to all content has been added, but is only available until May 13th.

I frankly can’t believe they’re just going to shut Google Video down, and am curious why they’re not exploring options like merging it into YouTube. The download button also seems like an insufficient solution for the amount of time and effort people have spent on building this ecosystem. Where will we go for positing long video content to the internet if this won’t be introduced on YouTube in tandem with Google Video shutting off? On the upside, seems like there’s a huge service opportunity.

A post on MetaFilter contains a huge list of videos on all sorts of varied subjects.“
