- The new Futurama episodes are actually four 90-minute movies that will be released direct to DVD. These movies will be reconfigured (a.k.a. zerschnitten) into 16 episodes for release on Comedy Central.
- The same production house, voice talents, and most animators have returned to work on the new episodes.
- Some new characters are in the works, including an octopus that ‘gets around.’ We’ll also see old favs like Al Gore and the glorious Hypno-Toad.
- ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNO-TOAD...
- The Simpsons movie is based around a central storyline and not a series of episode-like events.
